Biggest fish Competition - is run throughout the meet and the biggest fish caught at the THS will win the Dennis Brown Trophy and be awarded a ‘Biggest Fish Pennon’. Michael Chamberlain won last year with a catch of 5lb 10oz!! The official scales will be kept in the Shed and must be verified by a steward. Competition closes Thursday 7th August.
Bonus Ball– The youth will be going round selling bonus balls for Youth Funds.
Drift Wood Cup - GOLF COMPETITION - See John Little for more info, Elddis caravan with silver spots, next to fence.
Jump off the Harbour Wall at Cove & picnic(which is a 20 minute drive). Take your own wetsuits, crablines, and picnic. Once at Cove, you have to carry all your equipment to the harbour, a steep 20 minute walk. Make sure it’s a High tide for jumping.
Monday Evenings– Movie Night in the Marquee 8pm. Bring your own seats and sweets and enjoy the film.
Monday, Wednesday & Fridays– 10.30-11am – Keep Fit with Denise - Come to the marquee with your mat and do some gentle exercises with the ‘super fit exercise guru’ Working at your own pace, all abilities, from nearly sweating to sweating. Mix of Pilates, Yoga, & stretches, but was thinking of adding some body sculpturing (menapause arms😳)
If anyone has any light weights we can borrow? Otherwise 2 tins of soup do the same thing.
Wed 16th July– 8pm - Fish Drive Evening (just like a beetle drive but drawing a fish). Bring your chairs & tables to the marquee at 8pm for a Fish drive, don’t forget your pen! We will split you up into 4’s and play with your partner. Once you have completed your Fish, count up your score and the winners move on. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sun 20th July – BBQ at the Marquee 4pm run by the CCY. Three course meal including a drink. Large Menu : £15.00 - Pate & Crackers - Steak, Chicken, Sausages, Potatoes & Salad - Dessert - Smaller Menu: £10.00 - Pate & Crackers - Chicken, Sausages, Potatoes & Salad - Dessert. Tues 22nd July - Musselburgh Family Day at the Races. Make your own way to Musselburgh Race course, gates open at 12 noon, first race at 2.30pm. Pre-booked Admission price is £22-adult, £20-concession & Children 17 and under are free.
Wed 23rd July –8pm - Bingo Evening with James, in the marquee. £1 a book, cash prize to winner. Bring your own dabbers/pens and chairs.

Sat 2nd Aug - 8pm - Come to the marquee for live music with ‘Rock n Reel’ for an evening of ceilidh music and modern songs. Spend the evening singing, dancing, rocking and reeling with one of Scotland’s top touring bands. Bring your own drinks & nibbles. Followed by Beach Bonfire (weather permitting).
Wed 8th Aug – 8pm - Crazy Card Night & Dregs Party- Come to the marquee for a night of cards with a difference. Everyone needs to bring 3 prizes – 1 to the value of £1.50, 1 to the value of £1 and the last one something from your caravan that is of no value to you. You are split into groups of 4, play a hand of crazy triumphs, then the winners move on. Please bring your tables, chairs, dregs and nibbles.
